The Surgeon

The surgeon who shows his work.

Precision surgery, digital planning, and a photographer’s eye — in service of patients who thought their smile was lost for good.

The Story

Every reconstruction begins with respect for what was there.

Dr. Anurag Bhargava is an implant, full-arch, and reconstructive surgeon serving the Roseville and Sacramento region. His work centers on the most demanding cases in dentistry: failing dentition, terminal tooth loss, and the complex revisions other clinicians refer out.

His philosophy is engineering-led. Every case begins on screen — digitally planned, prosthetically driven — before it ever begins in the mouth. The result is surgery that is faster, calmer, and more predictable, and restorations designed to look natural, function predictably, and stand the test of time.

He is also a photographer. The same eye that composes a portrait documents every case with consistent light and honest angles — because outcomes you can see clearly are outcomes you can trust.

The Training

A credential stack built for reconstruction.

01
Doctor of Dental Surgery

University of Colorado

Foundation in comprehensive clinical dentistry, with an early focus on surgical and restorative disciplines.

02
Advanced Clinical Training

Comprehensive Dentistry — New York University College of Dentistry

Advanced clinical training in comprehensive dentistry — treatment planning complex, multi-disciplinary cases from diagnosis through final restoration.

03
Advanced Restorative Program

University of California, Los Angeles

Advanced restorative and esthetic protocols — the prosthetic discipline that drives every surgical plan.

04
Fellowship

American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics — FAAIP

Fellowship recognizing advanced competence in implant prosthodontics — where surgery and restoration meet.

Why Full-Arch

The cases that change lives, not just smiles.

Full-arch reconstruction sits at the intersection of everything Dr. Bhargava trained for: surgical precision, prosthetic engineering, and facial esthetics. It is also the treatment with the most profound effect on a patient’s daily life — how they eat, speak, and carry themselves.

“This case was referred to me after two failed grafts” builds more trust than any adjective. Complexity is welcome here. It is the point.

Philosophy
“Every treatment is individually engineered. The surgery happens on screen before it happens in the mouth.”

The Approach

Three disciplines. One standard of care.

Diagnosis

Precision before anything.

3D imaging, digital scans, and facially driven treatment planning. The plan is engineered around your anatomy, your bite, and your face — not a template.

Surgery

Guided, calm, deliberate.

Guided surgical protocols, immediate placement where indicated, and IV moderate sedation for comfort. Fewer surprises by design.

Restoration

Prosthetically driven from day one.

The final restoration is designed before the first incision. Surgery serves the smile — never the other way around.

Documentation

The photographer’s discipline.

Same background, same light, same angles — every case. Honest documentation is both a clinical record and a promise.
